Job Description for AGM / DGM - Corporate Accounts
Job location: HO

Key purpose of the job:
Ensure Statutory compliances, Ensure timely MIS, Accounts finalization, Tax Audit, and Income Tax assessment.


Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure timely completion & finalization of accounts with no qualification by auditors.
• Adherence of all statutory compliances.
• Completion of Tax audit within statutory time frame.
• Completion of Income tax assessment.
• Monitoring overhead budget

Strategic:
- Accounts
- Taxation
- Entire finance department MIS
- Consolidation of Accounts at group level

Operational:
Statutory Compliance of TDS returns, Service Tax returns, IT returns
Monitoring of all Corporate Accounts.
Preparation of monthly salary through Ascent/ in house Finance team.
Responsible for preparation of all Provident Fund Returns, ESIC returns, Professional Tax, Gratuity and Superannuation Funds.
Responsible for Full and Final Settlement of Employee Accounts.
Preparation of the monthly performance report and analysis of variance from budget.
Preparation of Quarterly financial results.
Ensure maintenance of books of accounts as per rules, regulation and standards.
Closing accounts within time
Completion of tax audit within statutory timeline.
Implementation of SAP and International Financial Reporting Standards

Developmental:
Updates on regulatory and statutory changes.
Ensuring all financial accounting work is handled by the team correctly and on time


Internal & External Interactions:
Internal: All departments of SPRE & its Associates
External: Income Tax Department, Tax Consultant, Service Tax Departments, Statutory Auditors.

Education & Experience Requirement:
CA
Relevant experience of 10 years plus in Accounts, Taxation and Finance.
Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and SAP
