Assistant General Manager/ Senior Manager - F&A

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee all financial, accounting, and statutory compliance operations at the manufacturing plant. Acts as a strategic financial partner to the Plant Head, driving cost optimization, safeguarding assets, and ensuring robust internal controls

• Audit Management: Serve as the SPOC for internal, statutory, and tax auditors.
• Costing, Budgeting, & Variance Analysis

• Cost optimization benchmarking operational costs

• Tax compliance GST, Customs, Excise, TDS, Income tax

Preferred candidate profile

Ideal Candidate

• CA – Inter or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA / ICWA)
• 10 to 15 years of post-qualification experience in corporate finance or plant accounting.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP (FICO / MM / PP modules) or Oracle
• Exceptional data analysis skills using MS Excel, Power BI
• Minimum 7-8 years inside a manufacturing plant ecosystem (Automotive, FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals, Heavy Engineering).
• Should have ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance plant operators
• Should have good experience GL, AP, AR, and fixed asset accounting
• Should have good audit coordination experience – Internal Audits, Statutory Audits, Tax Audits
• Should have good experience developing and implementing Internal Controls
• Should have good experience in costing, budgeting and variance analysis
• Should have hands on experience in Statutory Compliance and taxation – GST, Customs, Excise, TDS, Income Tax
• Should be willing to work out of Coimbatore Location.
