Assistant General Manager - Planning & Scheduling

Role Objective

The Planning Manager shall be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting for an Industrial project. The Planning Manager will play a critical role in ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and proactive risk management through strategic coordination and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Master Construction Program; ensure alignment with site execution.
• Conduct risk assessments; identify high-risk activities and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports; conduct reviews to track milestones and flag delays.
• Create resource deployment schedules, manpower plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor schedule and cost performance; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop recovery schedules to mitigate delays and maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve project-related issues and ensure smooth execution.
• Provide regular updates to management on progress, cost, bottlenecks, and critical activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.tech with PGP, 10+ Years of Experience Construction Projects
• Cross-functional: Basic knowledge of construction and project finance
• Skills: Planning & Organizing skills; detail-oriented communication skills, Primavera P6
• Behavioral: Coordination skills
