Job description

• The position is responsible for assisting in managing accounts & finance
• Working under the direction of the DGM Finance, ensures and closely work with FSS and local controllership team to accurately record revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities
• The incumbent should be a highly motivated self-starter with review, and proofing experience

50% GST & TDS accounting & SOP compliance

• Lead the communication process for daily accounting and reporting processes including design of templates processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Preparation of payroll details including all statutory requirements including taxation & return filling.
• Finalisation of TDS,TCS & GST requirements on a monthly level & ensure returns are filled timely.
• Payment of TDS & GST within due dates and ensuring compliance with timelines for the same.
• Act as primary liaison with Marketing team for queries of Customer reconciliation & our Accounting support shared service team.
• Tracking & analysis of Channel-wise performance for the period and highlighting the bottlenecks in terms of assigned expenses & accounting.
• Analyse performance (tracking revenue expenses regularly) and provide variance explanations and recommendations for operational efficiency and provide business counselling to relevant stakeholders, with the objective of adding value to the business.

30% Business Partnering:

• Partner with India leadership with supervision of Head- Finance to drive commercial / financial objectives by leading affiliate or country-specific projects.
• Assist in preparation & review of P& L statements and other reports on financial performance for executive management to review.
• Preparation of monthly business review deck in collaboration with functional stakeholders
• Leading finance on SOP discussions for benchmark analysis demand assumptions working with Supply Chain and commercial team.

20% Ad-hoc Projects, Process Improvement and Expense Efficiency

• To provide support towards any business or finance projects as they arise.
• To identify and drive continuous process improvement, particularly around financial planning.
• To identify and drive continuous process standardization and simplification to improve efficiency and bring in line with our parent entity.

Education and Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years progressive working experience, 2-3 years should be relevant FPA experience in a product Industry.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of culturally and functionally diverse people.
• Education: Inter- CA is preferred
• Experience in using TALLY & preferably JDe
• Extensive work experience in CA firm is suitable
• Experience in system planning tools such as BI
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Previous financial roles in challenging industry is a must.
• Previous Accounting/Taxation experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics Required.

• Location: Bangalore, Kasturi Nagar Office.
• Mode: Hybrid Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday wfo and Thursday, Friday wfh.
• Experience : 2 to 4 years
