Position Title: Assistant Manager - Subsidiary Controllership

Location: Chennai

Overview:

The Assistant Manager Subsidiary Controllership (US) will maintain the full books of accounts for Alldigi Tech's US subsidiary, owning end-to-end transaction processing (AP/AR), US client billing, intercompany charges and reconciliation across the group (India and Philippines entities), and customer/account-level profitability analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts for the US subsidiary, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and month-end/quarter-end close.
• Process and manage Accounts Payable: vendor invoices, payment runs, expense accruals, and AP ageing.
• Process and manage Accounts Receivable: customer invoicing, cash application, collections follow-up, and AR ageing.
• Prepare and issue billing to US clients in line with contractual terms; resolve billing queries and disputes.
• Raise, track, and account for intercompany charges between the US entity and group entities in India and the Philippines.
• Perform periodic intercompany reconciliation across the group, identifying and resolving mismatches with India and Philippines counterparts.
• Conduct profitability analysis at customer/account level for US operations, supporting management reporting and decision-making.
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (bank, AP, AR, intercompany) and ensure audit-ready supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with India controllership and FP&A teams for group reporting and consolidation inputs relating to the US entity.
• Manage US statutory and tax compliance coordination (e.g., state filings, sales/use tax, payroll tax) working with external advisors.
• Participate in Alldigi corporate-level improvement projects, contributing US entity inputs and supporting rollout of group-wide finance initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CPA (US) / CMA / MBA Finance, or equivalent; semi-qualified candidates with strong relevant experience also considered.
• 36 years of experience in general accounting, AP/AR, billing, and intercompany reconciliation, ideally including US entity exposure.
• Experience in a BPO/IT-services or multi-entity group environment preferred. Skills & Competencies
• Hands-on with AP/AR processing, billing, and reconciliations; working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• High accuracy, ownership, and ability to coordinate across India/Philippines/US time zones.
