Assistant Finance Manager-GL

Role & Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounts candidate for Group GL/Shared Service Center:

• Should have strong knowledge of GL accounting, month-end/year-end closing, journal entries, accruals, provisions and prepayments.
• Good understanding of Balance Sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, FX, fixed assets and IFRS is essential.
• Should be proficient in ERP systems and Excel, with a good understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow impact.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to investigate variances, identify root causes, resolve issues and provide meaningful insights.
• Should be a strong team player with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams/stakeholders, handle a team, support internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
• Must be flexible to changing work scopes, take ownership of new responsibilities, demonstrate initiative, and proactively drive process improvements and automation.
