Assistant Facilities Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a well-presented, responsible and people-oriented Assistant Facility Manager Soft Services to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the facility.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a service-oriented approach, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, employees, vendors and the site team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Facility Manager in the smooth management of day-to-day soft services.
• Oversee housekeeping, pantry, landscaping, waste management, pest control and other support services.
• Ensure a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment across the facility.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other service staff to ensure effective manpower deployment.
• Conduct regular site rounds and follow up on service-related observations.
• Interact professionally with clients, occupants and employees and respond to their service requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and service partners to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Monitor attendance, grooming, discipline and overall performance of service staff.
• Maintain basic operational records, checklists, reports and service documentation.
• Address day-to-day concerns and ensure timely closure of complaints and requests.
• Coordinate with security, engineering and other facility teams wherever required.
• Monitor availability of housekeeping materials, consumables and other required supplies.
• Assist in audits, inspections and client meetings.
• Support the Facility Manager in maintaining service standards and improving overall customer experience.
• Guide and motivate the team to maintain a professional and service-focused environment.
