Assistant Engineer - Quality Assurance

Role & responsibilities

• Manage product quality throughout the new development energy meter and manufacturing lifecycle
• Conduct quality inspections, testing, and reliability evaluations
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Ensure compliance with BIS standards, customer requirements, and quality management systems

Preferred candidate profile

1. Understanding of Metering Standards & and there adherence compliance

(i) IEC/IS standards ( IS 13779,IS 14697, IS 16444 Part 1 IS 16444 Part2)

(ii) Utility specification understanding and make scrutiny as per customer speciation

2. Must be able to conduct the test according to the meter rating as per standards.( IS 13779, IS 14697, IS 16444 Part 1 & IS 16444 Part 2)

3. Validate the meter through BCS for all type Energy Kwh, KVAh , KVArh ,TOD , Billing and all type tamper

4. Communicability of Smart meters through HES server and Gurux

5. Quality & Compliance Skills

(i) Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, and NCR handling

(ii) Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis tools ( 5-Whyanalysis ,8D CAPA

(iii) CAPA documentation and follow-up with Production, Supplier Quality Assurance , and Design

(iv) Knowledge about Quality tool
