Assistant Business Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

• Identify potential clients interested in establishing new schools, colleges, universities, and educational institutions.
• Research prospective clients, investors, school promoters, and educational groups.
• Generate leads through online research, LinkedIn, telecalling, email campaigns, referrals, and networking.
• Maintain an updated database of prospective clients with contact details and business requirements.

2. Client Communication and Follow-ups

• Contact prospective clients to introduce EROCON's services and understand their requirements.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with leads through calls, WhatsApp, and emails.
• Schedule meetings between prospective clients and senior management.
• Maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Ensure timely responses to client enquiries and maintain a record of all interactions.

3. Business Development Support

• Assist the Business Manager in achieving monthly and quarterly business development targets.
• Identify new business opportunities for school consulting, architecture, project management, construction, affiliation advisory, and higher education consultancy.
• Support the preparation of business proposals, presentations, quotations, and service agreements.
• Track proposals submitted and follow up with clients for feedback and conversion.
• Assist in developing strategies to improve lead conversion and revenue generation.

4. Lead Management and CRM

• Update all leads, communication records, meetings, proposals, and follow-up dates in the CRM or designated tracking system.
• Classify leads based on their potential, requirements, budget, and readiness to proceed.
• Maintain a daily activity report covering calls, leads generated, follow-ups, meetings, and conversions.
• Ensure that no qualified lead is left unattended.

5. Market Research and Competitor Analysis

• Research the education sector to identify upcoming school, college, and university projects.
• Track new educational ventures, land acquisitions, institutional expansions, and investment opportunities.
• Study competitor services, pricing approaches, and market positioning.
• Prepare periodic reports on market opportunities and potential client segments.

6. Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with consulting, architecture, construction management, affiliation, and finance teams to obtain information required for proposals.
• Ensure that client requirements are communicated accurately to the relevant departments.
• Follow up internally on proposals, estimates, and other deliverables.
• Support a smooth transition of converted leads to the concerned project or delivery team.

7. Reporting and Performance Monitoring

• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly business development reports.
• Monitor lead generation, lead qualification, meetings scheduled, proposals submitted, and business conversions.
• Maintain a pipeline report showing the status and expected value of prospective projects.
• Review performance against assigned targets with the reporting manager.
