Assistant Branch Manager

Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in all over Odisha, responsible for supporting overall branch operations and business growth. This role includes supervising day-to-day branch activities, guiding and motivating the team to meet sales and service targets, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Assistant Branch Manager helps manage customer relationships, oversees gold loan processing and documentation, and addresses customer queries and issues promptly and professionally. The role also involves monitoring branch performance metrics, preparing periodic reports, and assisting in local marketing and business development initiatives to expand the customer base. Collaboration with senior management on process improvements and operational efficiency is an integral part of the position.

Qualifications

• Strong branch operations and customer service skills, with experience in handling gold loans, documentation, and daily financial transactions.
• Proficiency in team leadership, staff supervision, and performance management to achieve branch sales and collection targets.
• Sound knowledge of banking or NBFC products, especially gold loans and related financial services, along with basic understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer interactions, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
• Ability to analyze branch performance data, prepare reports, and support strategic decisions to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Bachelors degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; prior experience in branch management or supervisory roles in financial services is preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to accuracy and detail in all operational activities.
• Comfort with basic computer applications and financial software; familiarity with local market dynamics is an advantage.
