Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Solapur, responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations and achieving business targets. This role includes supervising branch staff, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring high-quality customer service across lending, insurance, and wealth advisory offerings. The Assistant Branch Manager will coordinate branch processes, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, and manage reporting and documentation. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, driving local marketing initiatives, assisting in training and mentoring team members, and supporting strategic decisions to enhance branch profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications

• Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term client trust.
• Sales and business development abilities, including meeting targets, cross-selling financial products, and supporting local marketing and outreach activities.
• Operational and administrative skills, such as overseeing branch processes, managing documentation, and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
• Team leadership and people management capabilities to guide staff, support performance management, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret branch performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement practical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in relevant local languages is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in financial services are beneficial.
• Prior experience in retail banking, NBFC operations, or financial services in a customer-facing or supervisory role is preferred.
• Comfort with using digital tools, branch management systems, and MS Office applications to support daily operations and reporting.
