Assistant Assembly Manager_Gear Box Only

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure assembly process compliance with quality standards, TPM guidelines, and OEE optimization techniques.
  
• Lead a team of assemblers to achieve production targets, improve productivity, and reduce defects.
  
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to SOPs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., design, procurement) to resolve issues related to gear box components availability or design changes.
  
• Develop and maintain documentation of assembly processes, including work instructions, procedures, and records.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering or diploma holder with relevant experience in gear box assembly line management.
  
• Strong understanding of assembly operations principles, TPM practices, OEE optimization methods.
  
• Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate teams towards achieving goals.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
