Assistant Accounts Manager

 Commercial Accounting & Customer Accounts

 Manage day-to-day commercial accounting and customer account activities. 

 Monitor customer ledgers, receivables, outstanding balances, and account settlements. 

 Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of customer-related transactions. 

 Review and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts in coordination with relevant departments. 

 Pricing & Commercial Transactions Review purchase and sales pricing and ensure accuracy of commercial transactions. 

 Calculate and verify selling prices, discounts, schemes, offers, and other commercial adjustments. 

 Analyze the impact of pricing changes, discounts, and consumer schemes on profitability. 

 Verify customer-wise and product-wise margins and highlight significant variations. 

 Coordinate with Sales and Purchase teams regarding pricing and commercial issues. MIS & Management Reporting Prepare periodic MIS reports related to sales, margins, customer performance, pricing, and commercial activities. Analyze financial and commercial data to identify variances, trends, and key business insights. 

 Prepare management presentations and reports for review and decision-making. 

 Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to management. 

 Finance Team Supervision Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the finance team. 

 Review accounting entries, supporting documents, and financial transactions for accuracy. 

 Verify TA/DA claims, employee expense claims, and related supporting documents. 

 Guide team members on accounting procedures and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. 

 Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate closely with Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Operations, and other departments. Support departments in resolving commercial and accounting-related issues. 

 Ensure proper communication and follow-up on pending financial and commercial matters. Compliance & Process Control Ensure accuracy and completeness of commercial accounting transactions. 

 Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting procedures, and statutory requirements. 

 Monitor timely closure of commercial transactions and reconciliation activities. 

 Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen financial controls.
