Assist Manager - Utility

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation and maintenance of utility equipment and systems.
• Ensure availability of compressors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, DG sets, HVAC and water treatment systems.
• Monitor and maintain HT/LT electrical distribution, transformers, UPS and DG systems in coordination with the electrical team.
• Manage RO/DM/ETP/STP and plant water distribution systems.
• Ensure reliable operation of steam, compressed air, cooling water, gas/fuel and other utility systems.
• Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities for energy and cost reduction.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of utility equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and environmental requirements related to utility operations.
• Maintain utility-related records, checklists, logbooks and performance reports.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Manage contractors and technicians involved in utility operations and maintenance.
• Support CAPEX projects, equipment installation, commissioning and improvement projects.
