Assembly Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities of the chair molded parts assembly line.
• Ensure adherence to daily production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Monitor output quality and ensure SOPs and work instructions are followed.
• Train and guide operators and helpers on correct assembly techniques and ergonomic practices.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective action in case of defects, rework, or downtime.
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams for smooth line operations.
• Maintain shift reports, daily productivity logs, and defect tracking.
• Implement and uphold 5S, lean manufacturing, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/assembly supervision in Office chair industry/Sofa.
• Basic knowledge of lean tools (5S, Kaizen, TPM) preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments.
