Assembly Planning Engineer

Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Assembly Planning Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to support the Assembly Planning function. The candidate will assist in production planning, resource allocation, line balancing, capacity planning, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth assembly operations and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily assembly planning activities to meet production targets.
• Assist in preparing production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity.
• Monitor work orders and track assembly progress.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Procurement, and Quality teams for material availability and smooth workflow.
• Support line balancing and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Maintain production planning records, reports, and MIS data.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential material shortages.
• Assist in capacity planning and manpower allocation.
• Participate in process improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company standards.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
• 0-1 year of experience (Freshers can apply).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of production planning concepts is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems will be an added advantage.
