Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring strong distribution, and enhancing market presence across the assigned regions while operating from the HQ. The role requires effective execution of sales strategies, distributor management, and retailer engagement to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Target Achievement

• Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for assigned regions
• Drive volume growth and ensure consistent business expansion
• Implement company sales strategies in the market

Territory Management

• Manage and develop the assigned territories
• Plan regular market visits and route coverage
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach

Distribution Management

• Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors
• Ensure adequate stock availability and timely replenishment
• Monitor distributor ROI and operational efficiency

Retail Execution

• Increase numeric and weighted distribution
• Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and merchandising
• Build strong relationships with retailers and wholesalers

Market Intelligence

• Track competitor activities, pricing, and schemes
• Share regular market feedback and insights
• Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions

Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
• Ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes
• Track KPIs and report performance to the Area Sales Manager

• Outlet coverage and new outlet addition
• Distributor performance and stock health
