JD   Role Overview

410 years of hands-on experience in RPGLE development and IBM i (AS/400) application support.

Strong expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/DB400,SQL, and IBM i operating environment.

Experience in developing, enhancing, debugging, and maintaining business-critical applications.

Strong knowledge of production support, incident management, problem management, and root-cause analysis.

Ability to analyze complex programs, identify defects,and implement effective and sustainable solutions.

Experience working with job scheduling, batchprocessing, data files, interfaces, and system integrations.

Good understanding of SDLC, change management, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
