AS400 Developer

We are looking for a skilled AS400 Developer with strong development expertise and the ability to work independently while guiding a team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions, maintaining coding standards, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications on the AS400 (IBM i) platform
• Work independently on development tasks and provide guidance to junior team members
• Mentor and support a team of AS400 developers
• Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of tasks
• Ensure zero-defect delivery through thorough testing and quality checks
• Maintain high-quality code and adhere to coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in AS400 Development (RPG/CL/DB2)
• Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end development tasks
• Experience in team mentoring or leadership
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
