About the Role

The AS400 Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical applications on the IBM i/AS400 platform. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in AS400 technologies and strong analytical skills to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and high‑quality technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business-critical applications on the IBM i/AS400 platform.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and high‑quality technical solutions.
• Apply experience with Waterfall/Agile/Scrum approach and use JIRA for project/task management.
• Solve problems independently and creatively.
• Perform problem analysis, data mapping, use case modeling, and documentation.
• Deliver quality customer service and products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience on AS400.

Required Skills

• Applied experience with one of the following technologies/languages: RPG/LE, COBOL/400, SQL, Query/400, QM Query, ASC Sequel, CLP/CLLE, MQ, Data queue, JIRA, Service Now, SFTP, IFS, DB2/400, TAATOOL, RDI and Arcad.
• Experience with the Waterfall/Agile/Scrum approach and knowledge of JIRA.
• Ability to solve problems independently and creatively.
• Experience in problem analysis, data mapping, use case modeling, and documentation.
