AS400 Developer

• Minimum 4-9 years of experience as an AS-400 Senior Developer .
• Solid expertise in AS400, ILE concept, Free Format (RPGILE), Cobol, and Db2.IBMI System Knowledge , Azure & AI hands on experience, debugging skill
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of scrum and ADO, with experience in Azure.
• Experience in application development and a deep understanding of software development principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certifications in Azure and AI are preferred but not mandatory.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• A strong desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Lead and guide a team of junior developers, providing coaching and mentorship.
• Oversee the development, support, and maintenance of complex project modules.
• Apply standard software development principles, including Agile methodologies, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
• Utilize AS400, ILE concept, Free Format (RPGILE), Cobol, and Db2 to develop and enhance applications.
• AI , Azure knowledge with certification
• Implement web services and integrate them into the overall system architecture.
• Analyze and solve complex technical problems, providing innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly in the AS400 domain.
