Job Summary

Coforge is looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in IBM iSeries/AS400 application development, support, and enhancement. The candidate should have hands-on experience in RPG programming, CL programming, DB2/400, and production support activities. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on IBM AS400 (iSeries) platform.
• Design and code using RPG IV, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Participate in production support and incident resolution.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between AS400 and external applications.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow SDLC processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Knowledge of embedded SQL and database concepts.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
