Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Required Technical Skills

• Programming: Strong hands-on experience with Python, including object-oriented programming, asynchronous programming, and application development
• Backend Development: Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI
• Frontend Development: Working knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API integration
• LLM & Generative AI: Experience integrating LLMs through APIs or SDKs, designing prompts, and building AI-enabled application workflows
• Databases: Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server; exposure to NoSQL databases is an advantage
• Data Processing: Familiarity with data transformation, analysis, and manipulation using Python libraries such as Pandas or Polars
• Data Formats: Understanding of Parquet, columnar storage, and efficient processing of structured datasets
• Integration: Experience connecting APIs, databases, and external services into end-to-end application workflows
• Engineering Practices: Familiarity with Git, debugging, testing, code reviews, and basic CI/CD practices

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Exposure to agentic AI workflows, tool calling, and function calling
• Experience with data-processing tools such as PyArrow, DuckDB, Polars, or Apache Spark
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Exposure to Docker, containerization, and application deployment
• Understanding of LLM evaluation, response quality, latency, cost optimization, and responsible AI practices
• Experience working in client-facing, consulting, or fast-paced product engineering environments
