Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI ENGINEER

Role: Design and implement the AI/Agent interaction layer that enables business users to interact with the prepared enterprise/HR data through prompts and intelligent orchestration.

Reports To: Solution/Data Architect / AI Delivery Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement prompt and agent interaction patterns.
• Develop business-question interpretation flows.
• Implement intent/entity interpretation where required.
• Connect agents to approved semantic/data access mechanisms.
• Implement orchestration between user questions, business logic and data.
• Develop guardrails for data access and response generation.
• Validate accuracy and grounding of responses.
• Test prompt variations and edge cases.
• Support AI/Agent performance and response-quality tuning.
• Document agent behavior and configuration.
• Ensure agents do not bypass approved security and data-access mechanisms.

Experience / Skills:-

Mandatory:

• 3 to 6+ years in AI/ML/software engineering with recent LLM/GenAI experience.
• Experience with LLM applications.
• Prompt engineering.
• Agent/orchestration concepts.
• API integration.
• Python or equivalent programming capability.
• Strong understanding of grounding and enterprise data access.

Preferred:

• Azure AI ecosystem.
• RAG.
• Tool/function calling.
• Agent frameworks.
• Enterprise data/semantic integration.
