Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with manufacturing and production engineering teams to standardize AI software installation and configuration.
• Develop automated test utilities to verify AI computing modules, cameras, sensors, and software functionality during production.
• Establish end-of-line testing procedures for AI-enabled drone subsystems.
• Support root-cause analysis of production failures involving AI software, sensor integration, and computing hardware.
• Assist in preparing production test procedures, inspection checklists, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support pilot production, product qualification, design validation, and transfer of AI solutions from R&D to manufacturing.
• Work with quality assurance teams to track defects, improve first-pass yield, and reduce recurring integration issues.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong profi ciency in Python and C++.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with object detection architectures such as YOLO, RT-DETR, Faster R-CNN, or equivalent frameworks.
• Practical understanding of image classifi cation, feature extraction, and visual recognition.
• Experience with object tracking algorithms such as DeepSORT, ByteTrack, BoT-SORT, and Kalman-fi lter-based tracking.
• Strong knowledge of OpenCV and digital image processing.
• Experience with model optimization using ONNX, TensorRT, quantization, and inference acceleration.
• Experience deploying AI models on NVIDIA Jetson or equivalent edge computing platforms.
• Knowledge of AI model evaluation metrics, including precision, recall, mAP, and tracking accuracy.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and real-time software development.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI or related discipline.

• Previous experience developing computer vision systems for UAVs, robotics, or autonomous vehicles.
• Familiarity with ROS 2, MAVLink, and ArduPilot/PX4 integration.
• Experience developing robust AI models for resource-constrained embedded systems.
