Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Represent JHProIT at interviews with our clients.
2. Evaluate machine learning processes.
3. Collect and analyze large amounts of data.
4. Programme AI software to utilize large amounts of data.
5. Collaborate with other team members to establish goals for AI processes.
6. Develop and deploy AI algorithms.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness of AI.
8. Manage the data and project infrastructure.
9. Staying up to date on the latest AI developments.
10. Collaborate with data scientists to transition models from research to production.
11. Secure contracts on the company's behalf.
12. Manage model deployment in cloud environments (e.g. SageMaker, Vertex AI).
13. Work closely with product teams to embed AI into workflows.
14. Give input into technical matters while projects are ongoing.
15. Participate in engineering assessments.
16. Participate in client discussions and provide direction for technical requirements for projects.
17. Understand technical requirements and connect engineering decisions to business needs.
18. Collaborate with the internal development team to deliver on projects.
19. Bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and hands-on technical execution.
20. Guide architectural decisions, system design, and technology roadmaps for client or internal projects.

Preferred candidate profile

1. t least 8 years software engineering experience.
2. Minimum of 5 years of AI/ML engineering experience.
3. Solid experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
4. Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, NLP.
5. Experience in program leadership, governance, and change enablement.
6. Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns.
7. Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations.
