Artificial Intelligence Developer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled AI Developer with 2+ years of experience in Python and AI application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building Generative AI and LLM-based applications, integrating AI models through APIs, and developing scalable backend services using FastAPI.

The candidate should also have experience with React or Angular, MySQL, API integrations, and modern AI models/platforms such as Claude, Gemini, and other LLMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and solutions using Python.
• Develop and integrate Generative AI and LLM-based applications using models such as Claude, Gemini, and other leading LLM platforms.
• Build AI features such as conversational assistants, content generation, document processing, summarization, classification, and intelligent automation.
• Develop scalable and secure backend services and REST APIs using FastAPI.
• Integrate third-party AI services, LLM APIs, and other external APIs into applications.
• Work with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, model configuration, context management, and response handling.
• Develop frontend components and interfaces using React or Angular.
• Design and maintain databases using MySQL, including queries, schema design, data retrieval, and optimization.
• Implement API integrations between frontend, backend, AI services, and third-party platforms.
• Develop efficient workflows for sending prompts, processing LLM responses, handling errors, and managing API limitations.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support AI-powered applications.
• Test, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize AI applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, and AI application development.
• Follow coding standards, security practices, documentation standards, and version-control practices.

Required Technical Skills

Programming & Backend

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with FastAPI and REST API development.
• Good understanding of Python frameworks, libraries, and backend development practices.
• Experience with API design, integration, authentication, error handling, and data validation.

Generative AI & LLM

• Hands-on experience developing applications using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience working with Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, or other LLM APIs.
• Good understanding of LLM API integration and prompt engineering.
• Experience handling prompts, system instructions, context, structured responses, and token limitations.
• Understanding of LLM-based application architecture and AI workflows.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing web applications.

Frontend

• Hands-on experience with React or Angular.
• Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive UI development.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and AI-powered backend services.

Database

• Strong working knowledge of MySQL.
• Experience writing SQL queries, designing tables, managing relationships, and optimizing database queries.
• Understanding of database integration with Python/FastAPI applications.

API Integration

• Experience integrating third-party APIs and AI/LLM APIs.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication mechanisms, API keys, and error handling.
• Ability to design and implement reliable integrations between multiple systems and services.

Good to Have

• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, or similar.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM frameworks.
• Knowledge of embeddings, semantic search, and document processing.
• Experience with AI agents or AI workflow automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub or other version-control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in Python/AI application development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional development team.
