About a minute. You'll make an account on the way through.

    About this role

Juego Studios is a game development and co-development studio headquartered in Bangalore, working with global publishers and studios across mobile, PC and console titles. Our art organisation spans UI, Concept Art, Modeling, Rigging and Animation, delivering across multiple concurrent client projects.

    About the Role

We are looking for an Art Production Manager to own production delivery and resourcing across our art organization. You will lead a team of Art Coordinators, own resource allocation across all art departments (UI, Concept Art, Modeling, Rigging and Animation), and keep art production running to schedule and quality across multiple concurrent projects.

Art Coordinators hold the day-to-day client relationship on their projects. You will stay in the loop across all of them and step in directly whenever a project turns critical, or a situation needs senior handling. A select set of projects will also sit with you directly. Visual direction and task-level assignment sit with the department's leads, and you will partner closely with them, along with project managers, engineering and design.

    Key Responsibilities

    Art Coordination Team Leadership

    • Lead and mentor the Art Coordination team, setting clear expectations on project tracking, communication and delivery discipline.
    • Stay across all active art projects, and carry a select set of them directly, taking ownership whenever a project turns critical or needs senior intervention to land delivery.
    • Step into high-priority client calls where the coordination team needs support, handle escalations and drive them to resolution.
    • Participate in milestone meetings and daily stand-ups for critical projects, keeping art effort aligned to project schedules.
    • Track active deliverables, flag schedule risk early and ensure timely delivery for client submissions, milestones and builds.
    • Review critical artwork submissions against agreed project guidelines before they reach the client, and drive below-standard assets to closure with specific, actionable feedback.
    • Drive knowledge-sharing sessions that raise team competency in tools and workflows.

    Resource Allocation

    • Own resource allocation across the complete art organisation so that critical assets are picked up and delivered at the right time.
    • Plan capacity ahead of project ramp-ups and ramp-downs so resources are neither idle nor over-allocated.
    • Identify resource gaps early and close them with project managers, department leads and leadership.

    Process and Problem Solving

    • Resolve production challenges such as pipeline bottlenecks, handoff failures and tool inefficiencies.
    • Work with engineering, design and project management to resolve cross-disciplinary dependencies.

    Requirements

    • 6 to 10 years of experience in game art, with at least 3 to 4 years in a lead, manager or coordination leadership role.
    • Excellent communication skills, both with clients and internal teams. You must be able to present a position convincingly to a client, handle difficult conversations and escalations with confidence, and keep communication clear and consistent across departments.
    • A hands-on art background, having come up through one or more of UI art, 2D or concept art, or 3D modeling and texturing. You must be able to judge art quality credibly and review submissions yourself.
    • Proven experience planning and allocating art resources across multiple concurrent projects.
    • Strong working knowledge of game art production pipelines end to end, from concept through to in-engine integration.
    • Hands-on with project tracking and resource planning tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Monday, ShotGrid or equivalent.
    • Experience managing or mentoring coordinators, producers or artists.
    • Strong prioritisation and decision-making ability under competing deadlines.

    Good to Have

    • Experience in a studio delivering both work-for-hire and co-development projects.
    • Familiarity with Unity and Unreal art pipelines and platform-specific art constraints.
    • Experience defining or documenting art production processes.
