Area Sales Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth in the assigned territory.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and channel partners to drive business growth.
• Expand the distribution network by increasing the number of retailers and channel partners.
• Conduct regular field visits to retailers, distributors, and dealers to strengthen business relationships.
• Monitor and supervise frontline sales activities to ensure effective market coverage.
• Manage both primary sales (company to distributor) and secondary sales (distributor to retailer).
• Build strong customer relationships and gather market feedback to improve business performance.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand into untapped markets.
• Generate orders, collect payments, and acquire new retail outlets for water heaters and water purifiers.
• Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotional campaigns, and report findings to the reporting manager.
• Ensure implementation of company policies, schemes, and promotional activities across the assigned territory.
• Prepare daily sales reports and provide regular updates on market performance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Field Sales, Channel Sales, FMCG, Consumer Durables, Electricals, Home Appliances, or Building Materials.
• Strong experience in distributor and retailer management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Valid driving license and own two-wheeler (if applicable).Role & responsibilities
