Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and expand the distributor, dealer, wholesaler and channel partner network across the assigned territory.
• Identify new business opportunities and appoint distributors in untapped markets.
• Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct regular field visits to distributors, dealers, retailers, AC technicians and refrigeration spare parts markets.
• Develop market presence for aerosol products, AC coil cleaners, refrigerants and related products.
• Build strong relationships with channel partners and generate repeat business.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing and product demand.
• Ensure product availability, market coverage and timely payment collection.
• Prepare daily sales reports, sales forecasts and territory performance reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales, channel sales or distributor network development.
• Candidates from AC and refrigeration spare parts, HVAC products, aerosol products, industrial sprays, automotive aftermarket or consumer durables industries preferred.
• FMCG channel sales candidates with relevant distributor development experience may also apply.
• Strong experience in distributor appointment, dealer management and territory expansion.
• Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Hindi; working knowledge of English preferred.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and digital sales reporting.
• Must have a valid driving licence and personal two-wheeler.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
