About this role

Solar Hitech Solutions is looking for a dynamic and target-driven Area Sales Executive/Manager – Solar Retail to expand its dealer and distributor network across Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have experience in channel sales, dealer management, and business development, preferably in the solar industry.

This role offers an opportunity to drive regional sales growth by developing strong channel partnerships and promoting solar PV modules, solar inverters, and related solar products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and expand the dealer and distributor network across Tamil Nadu for solar PV modules, solar inverters, and related components.
Identify potential dealers and retailers, conduct meetings, and establish long-term business relationships.
Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans to achieve assigned targets.
Regularly visit dealers and distributors to understand their requirements, resolve challenges, and drive sales growth.
Monitor dealer performance, product availability, stock replenishment, and sales targets.
Follow up on outstanding payments and manage dealer credit wherever applicable.
Coordinate dealer marketing activities, branding requirements, promotional schemes, and sales incentive programs.
Track product dispatches, revenue collections, and overall regional sales performance.
Promote solar thermal products and heat pumps as part of the secondary sales portfolio.

Job Requirements

Graduate or Diploma holder with 3–5 years of experience in dealer or channel sales.
Experience in solar retail sales, particularly solar PV modules and inverter sales, will be preferred.
Strong dealer and distributor management and business development skills.
Ability to achieve sales targets, negotiate effectively, and make quick business decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory; Hindi is optional.
Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu, approximately 15–20 days per month.
Working knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.

Territory Coverage

The role will cover Madurai, Trichy, Thanjavur, Salem, Erode, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Virudhunagar, Vellore, Ramanathapuram, Kanyakumari, Tuticorin, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, and Dindigul.

Working Days & Compensation

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Compensation: As per industry standards, based on experience.
Incentives: Variable bonus/incentives linked to dealer sales targets.
Benefits: TA/DA for official travel and mobile bill reimbursement, subject to applicable limits.
