Preferred industry experience: Perfume / Skincare / FMCG

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales performance across our general trade channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a strong understanding of the general trade market, and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement territory sales plans to achieve revenue, distribution, and market share targets.
• Drive primary and secondary sales across General Trade for the skincare portfolio.

2. Team Management

• Lead, coach, and monitor Sales Officers/Representatives to ensure target achievement.
• Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.

3. Channel & Distributor Management

• Appoint and manage distributors; ensure stock availability and smooth supply chain operations.
• Strengthen relationships with retailers and key accounts to enhance brand presence.

4. Sales Performance Monitoring

• Track sales volume, productivity, and market penetration.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and action plans.

5. Market Expansion & Visibility

• Identify new market opportunities and expand distribution reach.
• Execute promotional activities, schemes, and branding initiatives to boost visibility.

6. Training & Development

• Train the sales team on product knowledge, skincare category insights, and selling skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of Proven experience in a General Trade Sales management role.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
