Job Description

We are looking for an experienced FMCG Sales professional to manage sales and distribution operations across Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have 8–12 years of FMCG sales experience, including 3–4 years in a managerial role, with strong expertise in team handling, distributor management, market expansion, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned territory.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team.
• Set territory-wise targets and monitor team performance.
• Develop and manage distributors, dealers, and retail networks.
• Expand market coverage and identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure product availability and effective distribution across the territory.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
• Implement company sales strategies, schemes, and promotional activities.
• Monitor stock, market inventory, sales movement, and distributor performance.
• Coordinate with Trade Marketing, Logistics, Accounts, HR, and other internal teams.
• Provide regular sales reports, market feedback, and business updates to management.

Candidate Profile

• 8–12 years of overall experience in FMCG/Food Sales.
• 3–4 years of managerial experience, preferably as Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager.
• Strong experience in General Trade, Distribution, Distributor Management, and Market Expansion.
• Good knowledge of the Bangalore market.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Candidates from FMCG Food / Beverages / QSR / Food Products backgrounds preferred.
