Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to manage and expand our business operations across the assigned territory in Bihar. The candidate will be responsible for developing the distribution network, achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and increasing market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners in the assigned territory.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Expand the company's market presence and customer base across Bihar.
• Regularly visit hospitals, medical stores, distributors, healthcare institutions, and other potential customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, hospitals, and healthcare professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate new leads.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product movement, and market trends.
• Ensure proper product promotion and visibility in the assigned territory.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support timely collection from customers.
• Prepare regular sales reports, market feedback, and competitor updates.
• Coordinate with the company's internal teams regarding orders, deliveries, customer requirements, and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure effective implementation of company sales strategies and policies.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare, FMCG, or FMCD will be preferred.
• Graduate in any discipline preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Good knowledge of the local market and distributor network will be an advantage.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Ability to develop new markets and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and sales reporting.
