Area Sales Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Drive secondary sales, business development, market expansion, and revenue growth across the designated region for engineered quartz surfaces and luxury interior product lines.
• Manage and develop stockists, dealers, distributors, and sub-dealer networks to strengthen market presence and retail/project footprints.
• Identify and track residential, commercial, and standalone projects and build a strong project sales pipeline.
• Engage with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and end customers to drive product specification and influence buying decisions.
• Conduct regular market and secondary-counter visits to drive product offtake, ensure proper product display, sample presentation, and brand visibility.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stockists, dealers, architects, influencers, contractors, builders, and other key stakeholders.
• Drive channel development, demand generation, local marketing activities, product launches, and industry engagement programs.
• Handle pricing discussions, negotiations, project closures, payment collection, and coordination with internal teams.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, customer requirements, and emerging design demands to support regional sales strategy.
• Maintain accurate sales, project, sampling, visit, and pipeline data in CRM and ensure timely reporting to management.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and service issues to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven sales and business development experience, preferably within Building Materials, Marble, Quartz/Natural Stones, Ceramic Tiles, Sanitaryware, Interior Surfaces, or allied architectural products.
• Industry Experience: Candidates with experience in marble, quartz, tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware, building materials, interior products, or related architectural products will be preferred.
• Network: Strong connections with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, real estate developers, dealers, stockists, and distribution channels within the assigned region.
• Skills: Strong expertise in secondary sales, channel development, project sales, specification selling, B2B sales, business development, key account management, pricing & negotiation, and relationship management.
• Market Knowledge: Good understanding of regional market dynamics, competitor activity, customer requirements, and building-material/interior-product trends.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory.
