Area Sales Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory in the entire Karnataka (Bangalore HQ).
• Drive the sales team to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
• Hire, train, coach, and motivate field sales representatives through regular joint visits and performance reviews.
• Expand and manage the local network of distributors and retailers to ensure product availability and visibility.
• Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.
• Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
• Constantly being in touch with distributors & SS for smooth functioning of channel sales.
• Ensuring timely vendors payments to make sales process smooth.
• Strong exposure in BA business handling.
• Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with third-party vendors.
• Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in marketing, communications, business management, or related field is preferred.
• Proven sales experience in personal care industry; GT retail sales experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
