About this role
- Develop and grow sales in the dairy segment across assigned territory
- Handle key accounts including Co-operatives, Private Dairies, and Institutional Customers
- Generate new business opportunities for dairy ingredients and application-based solutions
- Promote products such as stabilizers, emulsifiers, cultures, enzymes, hydrocolloids, and specialty dairy ingredients
- Coordinate and execute commercial trials at customer plants along with technical team support
- Understand customer pain points and provide solution-based selling rather than only price-based selling
- Build strong relationships with Procurement, R&D, Production, QA, and Management teams of dairy customers
- Manage customer follow-up from sampling stage to commercial conversion
- Support tender business, pricing discussions, negotiations, and order closures
- Maintain project tracking and customer updates through CRM systems
- Coordinate with principal companies for technical support, samples, and business development activities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region
- Monitor competitor activities and market opportunities within the dairy industry
- Support product launches and market development initiatives for new dairy solutions
