Area Sales Manager (OEM Sales)

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and develop new OEM and industrial customers across Gujarat, with a focus on Ahmedabad.
• Generate new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term customer accounts.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and develop business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with Purchase, Production, Quality and R&D teams of OEM customers.
• Prepare business proposals, quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Develop and execute business plans for key OEM accounts.
• Increase product penetration and market share within assigned territory.
• Handle customer queries and complaints and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
• Monitor sales pipeline, customer development and provide accurate sales forecasts.
• Support product trials, technical discussions and new product introductions at customer locations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate / B.E./B.Tech preferred; Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering background will be an advantage. 5-10 years of experience in B2B/OEM/Industrial Sales or Business Development.
• Candidates with experience in Paints, Coatings, Chemicals, Construction Materials or related industrial products preferred.
• Should have experience in new customer acquisition and key account management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Experience dealing with OEM/manufacturing customers and their Purchase, Quality, Production or R&D teams will be preferred.
• Should be comfortable with field sales and regular travel across Gujarat.
