Area Sales Manager - General Trade

Role & responsibilities

Ensuring Sales & Distribution as per business plan by building Sales & Development network in the designated area. Achievement of planned volumes & distribution for various brands through effective

product availability & visibility.

1. Distributor Management

Ensuring distribution and visibility of companys products on in assigned territory.

Responsible for better customer relationship management,

distributor/customer grievances handling and trouble shooting.

Appointment of CD (Company Distributor) / SS (Super Stockiest).

Understand fund requirement from the market to achieve desired business.

Ensure required infrastructure is available with Distributor to meet volume targets.

2. Driving Sales

Stock Allocation & CD wise billing

Market intelligence and responsible for proper reporting / feedback on competitors activities

Find out new business opportunities for overall business growth

Periodical sales review and analysis

3. Workforce Management

Building Team through recruitment program at ASE & SR level and carry out functional induction

Guiding & motivating sales team to achieve sales target

Performance Review on regular intervals

Ensure Sales policies are followed across area

Training need identification

4. Depot Management

C & FA/ Depot/warehouse administration & supervision.

Stock Management/ Inventory/ Indenting and focus on liquidation of slow moving products / short expiry stocks.

Coordination between C&FA, Company and indenting logistics stock management

Preferred candidate profile

MBA into Marketing / Operations shall be mandatory from a reputed Management Institute

Minimum 3 years of ASM experience into FMCG Industry, Commodity shall be preferred

Good hands on knowledge of Kolhapur and South Maharashtra
