Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager Term Insurance to drive sales and business growth across Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Term/Life Insurance sales, team handling, distribution channels, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Term Insurance sales and achieve monthly/quarterly business targets.
• Lead, manage and motivate a team of Sales Managers/Executives.
• Develop and strengthen distribution channels across the assigned area.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, conversion and revenue metrics.
• Conduct regular field visits and support the team in achieving sales targets.
• Build strong relationships with partners, customers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes and regulatory guidelines.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
• Drive recruitment, training and performance management of the sales team.

Skills & Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience in Life Insurance / Term Insurance sales.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in team handling/people management.
• Strong knowledge of Term Insurance products and sales processes.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience in Agency, Direct Sales, Bancassurance, Broking or Partner channels will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent market knowledge of Bangalore.
• Strong capability to build and manage sales teams.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
