About this role
Job Purpose:
Managescredit appraisal and decisioning for an assigned area/territory. Supervisescredit officers, balances risk with growth and ensures policy adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead area underwriting (home loans/LAP and othersecured retail products as applicable) within DOA.
Review CAMs, financials, banking surrogates, andcollateral; conduct field visits for high risk cases.
Ensure TAT adherence and reduce reworks throughcoaching and first time right checks.
Monitor early delinquency/quality of approvedportfolio; provide feedback to sales and policy teams.
Drive PDD/deferral closure within SLA; ensuremakerchecker controls and sample QC audits.
Coordinate with legal/technical/ops for smoothsanction to disbursement andrisk mitigation.
Maintain audit readiness and close observations ontime; train team on policy changes.
Skills Required:
Strong analyticaland financial evaluation skills.
Knowledge ofretail credit and secure lending products.
Leadership andteam coaching ability.
Processorientation and compliance focus.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Graduate /Post-Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
4-7 years incredit appraisal/underwriting with team handling experience.
