Stonelam Surfaces is a premium decorative surface solutions company created through the coming together of Stonex India Pvt. Ltd. and Laminam Spa Italy. StoneLAM offers innovative large-format porcelain surfaces designed for a wide range of interior and exterior applications.

StoneLAM slabs are available in large formats of up to 3.24 x 1.62 meters and thicknesses of 3 mm, 5 mm and 12 mm, with applications across exterior (majorly facades) and interior walls, furniture, flooring, bathrooms, kitchens, pools and splashbacks.

Job Description

We are looking for an Area Business Manager Sales & Business Development who will be responsible for driving sales and business growth across the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B / Project Sales, Building Materials, Surface Solutions or related industries, along with established relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, Facade Consultants, PMCs and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve aggressive sales and revenue targets for the assigned state/region.
• Develop and grow business through B2B and project sales.
• Identify and develop new sales channel partners and strengthen existing channel relationships.
• Generate business directly from projects and special-application partners.
• Develop strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Facade Consultants, PMCs, Contractors and other key influencers.
• Drive product specification and approvals through architects, designers and project stakeholders.
• Identify new project opportunities and aggressively pursue potential customers.
• Conduct product presentations, meetings and business discussions with key customers and influencers.
• Build a strong project pipeline and convert opportunities into sales.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure strong customer relationships.
• Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Brand/Marketing team for brand building and market development.
• Monitor market trends, competition and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure strong market presence and visibility for the Stonelam brand.

Qualification & Skills

• Graduate / MBA with 6-8 years of relevant sales experience.
• Experience in Building Materials, Tiles, Porcelain, Natural Stone, Marble, Surfaces, Laminates, HPL, Flooring, Facade or related industries preferred.
• Strong experience in B2B / Project Sales and Business Development.
• Proven experience in architect and interior designer engagement.
• Exposure to specification sales / project specification / product approvals will be highly preferred.
• Strong network among Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, Builders, PMCs and project consultants.
• Experience in developing channel partners and project business.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Proactive, self-driven and target-oriented personality.
• Ability to independently develop a territory and generate new business opportunities.
