Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draughtsman with strong technical drafting and detailing skills. The candidate will be responsible for preparing architectural working drawings, GFC drawings, detailed construction drawings, and coordinating drawings with architects, structural, MEP, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural working drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Prepare and update GFC (Good for Construction) drawings as per approved designs.
• Develop architectural details for flooring, toilets, staircases, doors/windows, faade, wall sections, and other building components.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and other consultant drawings.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and coordinate necessary corrections before issue to site.
• Incorporate design changes and site modifications into drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site execution.
• Assist architects and project teams in resolving drawing and detailing-related site queries.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revision records, numbering, and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of dimensions, levels, specifications, and construction details.
• Coordinate with site engineers and consultants for timely issuance and revision of drawings.
• Work independently while ensuring drawings are completed as per project schedules.

Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's qualification in Architectural Draftsmanship, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Assistantship.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting, preferably with a construction, real estate, architectural, or project management organization.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD Mandatory
• Revit – Preferred
• SketchUp – Working knowledge preferred
• MS Office
• Good understanding of:

• Building materials and construction methods
• As-built drawings
• Drawing revision and documentation

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in residential, commercial, institutional, school, or large-scale construction projects will be preferred. Practical exposure to site execution and consultant coordination would be an advantage.
