Architect

Role & responsibilities

* Act as the in-house Interior Design representative for projects including lobbies, show flats, sales offices, corporate offices, amenity floors and residential flats.

* Coordinate with external architects, interior designers and design consultants for ongoing projects.

* Review and provide inputs on design proposals, layouts, working/GFC drawings, elevations, details, materials and finishes.

* Communicate project requirements and design briefs to external consultants and ensure alignment with the project vision.

* Coordinate between management, consultants, project/execution teams, vendors and contractors.

* Attend design meetings, track pending drawings and follow up on revisions and deliverables.

* Coordinate with consultants and site teams to resolve design and execution-related issues.

* Review material samples, mock-ups, shop drawings, BOQs and vendor quotations from a design perspective.

* Coordinate design changes based on site conditions, project requirements and management inputs.

* Visit project sites when required and ensure that the approved design intent is maintained during execution.

* Manage multiple projects and consultants simultaneously and ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery.

* Maintain proper records of design discussions, approvals, revisions and drawings.

Preferred candidate profile

* Strong understanding of interior design, detailing and execution.

* Good knowledge of interior materials and finishes such as marble, tiles, veneer, laminate, quartz, granite, etc.

* Good understanding of working drawings and construction detailing.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD.

* Good understanding of BOQs and material specifications.

* Strong coordination and communication skills.

* Ability to review drawings and provide clear and practical design inputs.

* Ability to coordinate with multiple external consultants and internal teams.

* Good vendor and contractor coordination skills.

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

* Ability to independently manage multiple projects and ongoing requirements.
