• Role Purpose : Leads enterprise system administration, automation, and compute platform modernization, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient operations across on-premise and cloud-based server environments.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead architecture, design, and optimization of enterprise server environments across Windows/Linux platforms.
• Define system administration standards, hardening baselines, backup strategies, and lifecycle management practices.
• Oversee configuration management, patching automation, and OS-level security compliance for large-scale environments.
• Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives including virtualization, hyperconverged platforms, and cloud migration readiness.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and capacity planning across compute and storage environments.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce identity, access, endpoint protection, and audit requirements.
• Support release cycles, change management, and compute platform readiness for enterprise upgrades.
• Provide technical leadership to system engineers, guiding them on best practices and operational excellence.
