Function: Fire & Life Safety Consultancy
We are looking for an experienced Architect – Fire & Life Safety Consultant to prepare, review, and coordinate fire-safety design submissions in line with NFPA standards, UAE authority requirements, and applicable Fire & Life Safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Fire & Life Safety design concepts and detailed drawings.
- Review architectural drawings for fire-safety compliance.
- Prepare Fire Safety drawings, reports, and authority submissions.
- Coordinate with authorities, developers, consultants, and contractors for design approvals.
- Attend technical meetings with clients and authorities.
- Support projects through concept, design development, and approval stages.
- Identify non-compliances and propose code-compliant solutions.
- Support fire-safety strategies for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
- Assist site teams during implementation, inspections, and final approvals.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of Fire & Life Safety consultancy experience.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards.
- Experience with authority submissions and approvals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is an advantage.
- Good understanding of fire escape planning, building layouts, and life-safety systems.
- Fire Safety Consultancy experience preferred.
