AR/Sr AR Callers

Role Summary:-

The AR Caller is responsible for following up with insurance companies regarding outstanding medical claims, claim denials, underpayments, and payment status. The role requires effective communication with insurance representatives to maximize collections and reduce aging receivables.

Responsibilities:-

• Make outbound calls to insurance companies to follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid medical claims.
• Review claim status and identify reasons for non-payment.
• Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA), and denial codes.
• Work on denied, rejected, and pending claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Document call outcomes and actions taken in the billing system.
• Initiate appeals and resubmit claims when required.
• Monitor claim aging reports and prioritize high-value accounts.
• Coordinate with internal billing and coding teams to resolve claim issues.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the organization.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Meet collection targets and account resolution turnaround times.

Preferred candidate profile:-

• Good understanding of US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Managed Care plans.
• Experience in handling Denials Management, Appeals, and Payment Posting queries.
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced US shift environment.
• Good computer proficiency and experience with medical billing software.
