Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Software Quality Assurance Apprentice to join our engineering team. This opportunity is designed for individuals who are passionate about software quality and eager to build a career in software testing and test automation. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced engineers to learn modern testing practices, contribute to product quality initiatives, and gain hands-on experience with automation frameworks and agile development processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated test cases.
• Learn and support test automation activities using modern automation tools, preferably Playwright.
• Participate in functional, regression, integration, and system testing activities.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through the defect lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Support the validation of new features and defect fixes.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts such as:
  • Test cases
  • Test execution
  • Defect tracking and defect lifecycle
• Exposure to or willingness to learn test automation tools, preferably Playwright.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Exposure to web applications and software development lifecycle concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
