Role Description The Apprentice - Hostess role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The person in this role welcomes guests upon arrival, manages seating arrangements, and ensures a smooth flow in the restaurant or dining area. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling reservations, maintaining accurate guest records, and coordinating with service teams to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. The Apprentice - Hostess responds to guest inquiries in person and over the phone, provides menu and venue information, and supports the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment. This role also involves learning standard operating procedures, following safety and hygiene guidelines, and contributing to an inclusive, service-oriented atmosphere.
Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to create welcoming, positive guest experiences.
• Effective Communication and Phone Etiquette skills for clear, professional interactions in person and over the phone.
• Basic knowledge of Reservations handling, including managing booking systems and guest lists.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with attention to detail and reliability in following procedures.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the hospitality industry; prior front-of-house or guest-facing experience is an advantage.
• Professional appearance and conduct, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Basic computer literacy for using reservation tools and internal communication platforms.
