Apprentice Trainee CRM Systems & Data Excellence

Location: Legrand Head Office, Andheri East, Mumbai
Experience: Fresher
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Engineering with an MBA in Computer Science / Systems / IT or a related discipline

Job Purpose

To support CRM system management, data quality, and process excellence by ensuring accurate customer data, maintaining data integrity, supporting system updates, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives. The role offers an opportunity for a fresher to develop expertise in CRM platforms, business processes, data analytics, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. CRM Data Management

• Maintain and update customer, account, contact, and other business-related data in the CRM system.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to defined data standards.
• Identify and correct duplicate, missing, or incorrect records.
• Perform regular data validation and quality checks.

2. CRM System Support

• Support day-to-day CRM operations, system updates, and data maintenance activities.
• Assist business users with basic CRM-related queries and issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies.
• Support user access requests and system documentation as per internal processes.

3. Data Excellence & Reporting

• Prepare periodic reports and dashboards related to CRM data quality and system usage.
• Analyse data discrepancies and identify opportunities to improve data accuracy.
• Support data cleansing, standardisation, and data enrichment initiatives.
• Maintain trackers and documentation for data quality KPIs and improvement activities.

4. Process Improvement

• Assist in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive data-related activities.
• Support CRM process standardisation and continuous improvement projects.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and process changes.
• Participate in CRM testing and validation during system enhancements or updates.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Good analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, including data filtering, sorting, lookup functions, and pivot tables.
• Understanding of databases, data management, and business processes.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar tools would be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or data visualisation tools is desirable.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn new systems and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile

• Engineering graduate with an MBA in Computer Science, Systems, IT, or a related specialisation.
• Freshers with a strong interest in CRM systems, data management, analytics, and digital process improvement.
• Candidates with an organised approach, a learning mindset, and an aptitude for working with data and technology.
